Snow mountain (Nozawa Onsen), Hattifnatt and beginning of spring
Today felt like spring. But I wont be surprise if tomorrow it goes back to freezing cold. It's the perfect time for a quick update in picture

If you ever go to Jiufen ...
I was really looking forward to visit Jiufen during my trip to Taiwan. I have seen so many pictures of the place and of course I wanted to see the place that was used in Spirited Away.
But I have to say the highlight of my trip to Jiufen and to Taiwan in general was stumbling on the small and cozy photography gallery of PACO.
It was still early for the lights to come on, so a little detour woudnt hurt, and thats how I came across the gallery. It was like stepping into another world, a place I read a lot about, music playing in the background, black and white framed pictures on the wall - it was the perfect setting.
Paco is not only a photographer but also an illustrator. His works have a lot of life to them, actually the whole gallery is a living and breathing place.
If you are ever in Jiufen, drop by Paco's photograhy gallery and go through his amazing work.
