Another walk in Port Louis Streets

On Wednesday I had to pick up some posts and buy craft paper and I thought it was the ideal opportunity for a walk through some streets that I am familiar with but I havent walked through in about 13 years. I used to work during my school holidays and since i had no direct bus from my place to there, I used to walk instead. This might conclude my walks in the capital. Maybe I should now venture out there ...

Anyway here are the pictures

I live next door to the hippodrome. I've actually lived next door to the hippodrome all my life but I've never really find it of any interest to watch the horse racing. Its always crowded and in the past going out on a Saturday was a nightmare because of the traffic caused by the horse racing events

But the view at the horizon reminds me of time passing and more and more taller and taller buildings being built

On the other side you will find the mountain ranges

One Bridge

Champs de Mars literally translated as Field of Mars ...

A peek at one of the old house opposite the hippodrome

Two Bridge

This is the shortcut that cars and people take and that cut like 30 mins of getting from my side of port louis to the city center

Not too sure about this

Here I used to work

My first job as a student when I was 17 was office sitting for an architect. But I did learn something from him. He showed me the right way to fold paper. It was a revelation and I still use that method

Another one of those bridge that was built in the french/english days

Follow that road up and you'll find yourself in onw of the busiest streets of the capital.
